Boosting immigration: Ensuring Greater Moncton continues to be a growth engine for the province.
Greater Moncton’s economic performance since the late 1980s has been impressive. It’s GDP and population growth rates have been among the highest east of Ontario during that span. Driving much of this growth has been the inward flow of talent – mostly from other parts of New Brunswick. If the region is to continue to grow it will need to attract more talent from outside New Brunswick. David Campbell’s presentation will highlight the critical importance of immigration to ensure the Greater Moncton and New Brunswick economies can continue to grow and thrive in the future.
